How to get started

When you open Doublet Scan a new empty "Task"window will be opened.

To perform a scan you must take three steps.

Click on the button and choose a directory or disk you want.

You can repeat this step a maximum of seven times for each window.

Click on the filter buttons for filtering the items of the search.

The "Name" button is default checked. If you intend to make a scan for empty folders you can deselect all buttons

Optionally you can customize the list to scan by selecting the file or folder you want to exclude and by clicking on the button.

You can make three types of scans by clicking on the button.

Duplicate files: search for duplicate files, based on the filters' criteria.

Unique files: search for files that are not the same, based on the filters' criteria.

Empty folders: search for empty folders.

Once you have a list of searched for items you can rename, move to trash or move to another location the items you want.
